Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to oversee our vehicle transportation team in Houston. You will lead 10–15 drivers, handle dispatching, scheduling, billing, payroll, and day-to-day operations from the office while occasionally spending time on the road.

• Previous supervisory or management experience required.
• Dispatching, logistics, fleet management, transportation, or operations experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of 10-15 drivers.
• Schedule and dispatch vehicle moves to maximize driver efficiency.
• Transport vehicles throughout the day using a company van.
• Enter, track, and manage orders using our proprietary software.
• Complete customer billing accurately and on time.
• Process payroll for assigned drivers.
• Monitor expenses and help maintain a profitable operation.
• Ensure drivers are productive, efficient, and providing excellent customer service.
• Communicate with customers regarding vehicle movement requests and scheduling.
• Identify operational improvements and resolve issues as they arise.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Salary: $20 an hour plus monthly bonus for profitability

Job Type: 1099

Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday (occasional weekends may be required)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our vehicle transportation team. This position combines leadership, logistics, customer service, and field operations. No two days are the same. You'll spend part of your day on the road transporting vehicles and supporting drivers, while also handling dispatching, scheduling, billing, payroll, and overall operational management from the office.
