Givenchy in New York City is seeking an Operations Supervisor for our SOHO boutique. The role focuses on maintaining operational standards, supporting the business plan, shrink reduction, and risk management while upholding premium customer experiences.

You will partner with the Head of Retail Operations and store leadership to ensure policy adherence, train staff, and lead audits. This is a frontline leadership role within a luxury house under LVMH.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing and maintaining the organizational standards in the boutique. They also provide support for the company's overall business plan, shortage reduction programs, risk management and controllable losses. To be successful, the Operations Supervisor must consistently demonstrate operational excellence and the following core competencies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee store operations and ensure compliance with standards
  • Establish strong partnership with Head of Retail Operations, Boutique Director, and store personnel
  • Reinforcement of company polices
  • Continuously propose additions/edits and improvements to the store operations procedures on an as-needed basis
  • Compliance with Client Relations Management
  • Provide/assist store personnel in operations/systems training
  • Internal Audit and Control
  • Liaise with various internal and external departments
  • Contribute to the development of Operations/Loss Prevention programs.
  • Support all Risk Management programs and functions. Focus on reducing incidents and associated financial losses.
  • Able to influence change necessary to deliver results that support organizational goals.
  • Ability to work autonomously, confident in making decision
  • Responsible for the training of store personnel as it relates to operations: company policy/procedures and understanding store processes
  • Provide hands on training with teams to ensure understanding of store processes and standards
  • Develop competency in auditing, shortage reduction programs and system controls
  • Drive results by setting goals and objectives of team, which are challenging, realistic and support company goals.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze situations, provide direction, and communicate expectations and coach to achieve desired results.
  • Reporting of Operations KPI’s to Boutique Directors
  • Demonstrate the ability to forecast and future needs and expenditures and communicate these needs accordingly.
  • Able to effectively handle multiple tasks and projects through to successful conclusion.
  • Ensures the completion of audits, has the ability to analyze results and develop strategies that impact operational efficiencies and shortage exposures.

The compensation for this position ranges from $27- $32 hourly. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
