Job summary

Givenchy in Los Angeles is seeking an Operations Supervisor for its Rodeo Drive Boutique. This role leads store operations, manages movement of pre‑sale merchandise, and ensures compliance with shipping/receiving policies while deploying omnichannel strategies in store.

The candidate will oversee inventory control, merchandising support, and coordination of transfers, with a focus on premium client service and flawless store execution.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a retail setting, preferably luxury.
  • Proficient with software packages and store systems.
  • Foreign languages a plus.
  • Action oriented and driven.
  • Customer service oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory in an efficient, clean, secure, and organized fashion.
  • Support sales staff when merchandise is in stock but not on the floor.
  • Anticipate maintenance needs and provide proactive solutions for space and storage.
  • Ensure all merchandise is ticketed.
  • Support visual, merchandising and operations with fixtures, furniture and merchandise movements.
  • Oversee store facility and fixture maintenance, cleaning, and repairs as needed.
  • Participate in inventories and cycle counts, and assist with reconciliation.
  • Manage inter-store transfers, stock rotations, and shipments per policy.
  • Handle prêt‑à‑porter inventory maintenance processes (damages, RTVs).
  • Ensure high standards in packaging client merchandise.
  • Lead client delivery processes and troubleshoot missing deliveries.
  • Document deliveries and track merchandise locations.
  • Assist other departments or on selling floor as requested by Store Manager / Director.

Givenchy is currently seeking an Operations Supervisor for its Rodeo Drive Boutique! The Operations Manager plays a key leadership role within the flagship location. This position is responsible for managing the movement of all pre‑sale merchandise entering and exiting the store and for ensuring that all shipping/receiving policies, procedures, and directives are implemented. The Operations Manager also ensures the efficient operation of the omnichannel strategy deployment in store.

Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Maintain inventory in an efficient, clean, secure, and organized fashion
  • Support sales staff when merchandise is needed that is in stock but not on the sales floor
  • Anticipate merchandise maintenance needs and providing proactive solutions to space and storage issues
  • Ensure that all merchandise is ticketed
  • Support visual, merchandising and operations needs with the moving and storage of fixtures, furniture, merchandise, props, etc.
  • Support the operation and maintenance of the store regarding facility and fixture maintenance, coordinating cleaning, and repair when required
  • Effectively participate in the timely preparation and completion of all inventories and cycle counts
  • Maintain an active role in the inventory reconciliation process
  • Manage and process all inter‑store transfers, stock rotations and incoming / outgoing shipments as per policies and procedures
  • Understand and accurately complete all Prêt‑à‑porter work and procedures relative to inventory maintenance (i.e., damages, RTVs, etc.)
  • Ensure the highest standards while and packaging client merchandise
  • Lead all aspects of the client delivery process inclusive of troubleshooting missing deliveries
  • Document all deliveries to clients, track and locate merchandise when necessary
  • Assist other departments or on the selling floor as needed and as requested by the Store Manager / Director

The compensation for this position ranges from $30-$32 hourly. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
