Job summary

VeoRide, Inc. is seeking an Operations role to support day-to-day market activities in a fast-paced micromobility environment.

The position involves hands-on warehouse work, asset handling, and field service support across Veo’s service areas in the United States. The role also includes coordinating recruiting and scheduling tasks, tracking productivity, following SOPs, and assisting with special projects under the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
• 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for a full shift.
• Knowledge of local geography and street layouts.
• Clear, effective communication.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Experience in a fast-paced early-stage tech company is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager with day-to-day market responsibilities.
• Perform 60–80% hands-on, manual tasks (direct labor, warehouse organization, asset counting, compliance audits).
• Inspect and maintain vehicles; respond to field service requests.
• Redistribute scooters and identify units needing in-shop repair.
• Handle 20–40% administrative duties (hiring support, scheduling, productivity tracking, SOP follow-up).
• Assist with other projects as needed by the Operations Manager.

Shift: Thursday - Monday 6am - 2pm

Pay: $22 - $24/hr

A company van is provided to all employees. Candidates must have reliable transportation to or live near the warehouse located on Liberty Avenue in Ozone Park, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Operations Manager with the day-to-day responsibilities in the market
• 60-80% of your time will be hands-on, manual work to include:
• Direct labor and warehouse organization
• Hand-count assets and compliance audits
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of vehicles
• Respond to on-demand and in the field customer service requests
• Redistribute scooters around Veo’s service areas
• Identify, document and recover scooters requiring in-shop repair
• Ad-hoc field tasks and other tasks as required
• 20-40% of your time will consist of a variety of administrative work to include:
• Support Operations Manager with hiring, training, scheduling staff
• Employee productivity tracking
• SOP follow-up
• Assist Operations Manager with other projects as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude
• 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience
• A valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and be on your feet for the entirety of a shift

Below is the expected salary range for this position. The listed range is a good faith estimate, and exact compensation and total package may vary depending on market conditions and candidate qualifications.
