Job summary

Veo is hiring for an on-site Operations/Warehouse role in New York. You will support the Operations Manager, perform hands-on tasks like labor, stocking, asset counts, and vehicle checks, and handle field service requests.

The role includes hiring support, scheduling, and performance tracking in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have basic mechanical skills, a year of supervisory experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager with the day-to-day responsibilities in the market.
• 60-80% of your time will be hands-on, manual work including direct labor and warehouse organization, asset counts, vehicle inspections, field customer service, and scooter redistribution.
• 20-40% of time on administrative tasks including hiring, training, scheduling staff, productivity tracking, SOP follow-ups, and other projects.

Company Overview:

Shift: Thursday - Monday 6am - 2pm

Pay: $22 - $24/hr

A company van is provided to all employees. Candidates must have reliable transportation to or live near the warehouse located on Liberty Avenue in Ozone Park, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Operations Manager with the day-to-day responsibilities in the market
• 60-80% of your time will be hands-on, manual work to include:
  • Direct labor and warehouse organization
  • Hand-count assets and compliance audits
  • Perform routine inspection and maintenance of vehicles
  • Respond to on-demand and in the field customer service requests
  • Redistribute scooters around Veo’s service areas
  • Identify, document and recover scooters requiring in-shop repair
  • Ad-hoc field tasks and other tasks as required
• 20-40% of your time will consist of a variety of administrative work to include:
  • Support Operations Manager with hiring, training, scheduling staff
  • Employee productivity tracking
  • SOP follow-up
  • Assist Operations Manager with other projects as needed

Below is the expected salary range for this position. The listed range is a good faith estimate, and exact compensation and total package may vary depending on market conditions and candidate qualifications.
