Job summary

Shearer’s Foods in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead manufacturing teams on a 3.2.2 schedule (6:15 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.). You will drive safety, quality, and productivity, delivering continuous improvement and Lean initiatives across the plant floor.

You will provide clear direction, coach hourly personnel, manage attendance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet throughput and cost targets while upholding company values and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in a related business or technical field such as food science, operations management, or engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in a production management or supervision role, preferably in the food processing industry.
• Strong leadership capabilities to help take our team to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Directs employees and plant floor activities to achieve high-quality, consistent product.
• Ensures a safe workplace by enforcing safety and sanitation rules.
• Plans and establishes work schedules and coordinates cross-functional activities.
• Uses metrics to evaluate, improve processes and maintain regulatory documentation.
• Collaborates with supervisors and teams to drive continuous improvement.
