POSITION SPECIFICS

Field Supervisor Transportation Services is seeking an Operation Supervisor to support our Daily and Event Operations for Transportation Services.

The Operations Supervisor supports the field operations of Transportation Services, including managing the Gated Parking Decks and providing direction for campus enforcement, and will support events on their working days and during large events.

This position serves as the primary operational decision-maker during assigned shifts and is empowered to resolve customer concerns, manage staffing resources, direct field operations, coordinate parking facilities, and ensure service excellence across parking decks, visitor operations, enforcement activities, and events.

The supervisor maintains responsibility for the safe, efficient, and professional delivery of parking and transportation services while exercising independent judgment in operational matters.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make timely decisions with minimal management intervention.

Supervisors are expected to support organizational goals by developing staff, maintaining operational continuity, enforcing policies and procedures, and fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

This is a 4 day a week, 10 hour day position, with the primary work days of Sunday through Wednesday, 10 am. to 9 pm, with mandatory overtime for large events.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

Associate Degree 4+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

SALARY & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $44,628.00 - $64,668.00.
