Job summary

Richemont North America, Inc. in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the evening shift to oversee inbound, outbound, returns, Ecommerce, and Spare Parts in a busy distribution center, guiding a team to meet safety and performance targets.

You will organize daily work, analyze data from dashboards and forecasts, provide training and guidance, and pursue continuous improvement with Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma, while maintaining a culture of safety and accountability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proficient user of SAP EWM and working knowledge of SAP.
• Fluent professional English communication (verbal and written).
• Coordinate and participate in process improvements via Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Organize and assign daily work to meet operational demands; analyze data from dashboards and forecasts and apply improvements.
• Enforce workplace safety by ensuring rules and policies are observed and PPE usage is compliant.
• Provide training and guidance to develop team members and maintain engagement.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities; lead root-cause analysis as needed.
• Conduct annual associate performance elevations and coach staff on company policies.

Operations Supervisor Richemont | Grand Prairie, TX Evening Shift (2:30pm - 11pm Mon - Friday)

Role Overview

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of distribution center activities (including Inbound, Outbound, Returns, Ecommerce, and Spare Parts), effectively employing labor resources to established operational metrics and providing leadership guidance, direction and development to direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and assign daily work to meet daily operational demands per established target objectives. Analyze and apply data from reporting tools (Dashboard, Forecasts, and budgets etc.) Analyze productivity and quality results in order to make improvements or take proper corrective action. Develop implement and supervise process quality control actions: ensure consistency execution of procedures and take appropriate corrective/preventive action. Execute company initiatives and strategies to uphold our standard of warehouse and delivery excellence.
• Enforce workplace safety by helping to ensure safety-related rules and policies are observed (e.g., use of PPE, proper housekeeping, equipment handling etc.) Maintain strict compliance with the safety incident reporting process.
• Provides training and guidance that encourages the development of team members. Sets an appropriate tone in the workplace to build team member engagement and retention.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for optimizing facility operations. Lead Root Cause analysis as necessary within assigned area of operational responsibility. Ability to manage details, appreciate complexity, and champion problem solving.
• Create and perform annual associate performance elevations. Coach and train staff to company policies and are adhered to.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required, College degree preferred.
• Other training/certifications a plus.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Skype, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc); ability to export, format, and manipulate documents from SAP and reporting tools.
• Proficient user of SAP Extended Warehouse Management tools (EWM) & working knowledge of SAP.
• Independently manage tasks/projects within the operation.
• Fluent with professional English communication: both verbal and written.
• Coordinate and Participate in process improvements through Lean concepts, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a professional manner, maintain confidentiality and sustain a respectful workplace.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to provide the supervision necessary as business needs change.
• Ability to facilitate daily shift meetings.
