Job description

Labor Management Supervisor

Tuesday - Friday

10:00am - 8:00pm

Position Summary

Coordinates and supervises the daily and weekly activities of the LMS record clerks in support of operational activities; provide leadership, motivation, training, and development of workforce for LMS principles and new initiatives; executes against customer/site LMS requirements; participates in continuous improvement activities as part of the site management team; ensures company policies are followed, and site develops positive work culture.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Supervise daily production reporting - prepared by LMS Record Clerks and sent to internal stakeholders: reporting on operational efficiency and employee performance.
  2. Interpret results of process log analysis / root causes and provide solutions.
  3. Supervise database management.
  4. Monitor / implement training and guidance of operations team for all LM productivity requirements.
  5. Continuous improvement – identify process deviations / process improvement opportunities; process/BBS observations, root cause analysis, benchmarking.
  6. Supervise development and maintenance of training materials and guides for using the LM system.
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned.
  8. Provide support to operations team as required; partner with operations team to lead improvement initiatives.
  9. Collaborate with the regional sites to share in safety, labor sharing, and best practice initiatives.
  10. Participate in the completion of workshop action plans, projects, and best practice sharing/implementation.
  11. Effectively communicate to operations team leaders and associates regarding LMS information (current reporting/trends, training needs, continuous improvement initiatives).
  12. Provide a professional environment with relation to internal / external customers and vendors.
  13. Security – confidentiality with system and employee information, login security, and policy compliance.
  14. Deliver orientation, training, performance reviews, and/or development as appropriate.
  15. Direct the necessary daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean, and fair work environment for associates.
  16. Ensure the associates have proper access to the necessary tools to perform their assigned duties and that the tools are routinely inspected and maintained.
