Job summary

Cigna Healthcare's Tempe, AZ Accredo fulfillment pharmacy seeks an Operations Supervisor to manage daily pharmacy operations, monitor productivity, and direct workflow and project assignments.

The role is worksite dependent with Sunday 7am-3:30pm and Monday–Thursday 10am–7pm shifts. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to drive service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; Pharmacy Technician Certification is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing/distribution setting preferred.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities with teams.
• Strong PC skills including MS Office, Internet and email.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to train staff.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and resolve complex issues.

As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations of a team of associates in Pharmacy Operations monitoring productivity and performance standards while planning and directing workflow and project assignments.

This is a worksite dependent role at the Tempe, AZ Accredo fulfillment pharmacy. Shift hours are Sunday 7am-3:30pm, Monday - Thursday 10am–7pm.

• Assist in development of programs and process improvements to enhance the level of internal and external customer service provided
• Oversee team and individual performance standards and service standards are met
• Develop, coach, and provide feedback to employees concerning quality, reliability, accountability and productivity

What you need to do the job:

• High School Diploma is required, Pharmacy Technician Certification a plus.
• At least 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing/distribution setting strongly preferred
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively develop and assist team members
• General PC knowledge; MS Office, Internet, email
• Excellent oral, written and phone communication skills
• Experience in training and coaching less experienced staff
• Advanced problem solving skills
• The ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment, make independent decisions
• Demonstrated ability to handle difficult conversations in a professional manner
• Ability to work shift: Sunday 7am-3:30pm, Monday - Thursday 10am–7pm
