Working Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm; Friday - Sunday with flexibility to come in during the week.

Production Supervisor

Our production supervisors are responsible for supervising production team members in a manufacturing and assembly environment. They plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures, and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective team member relations.
  • Provide team member coaching and development.
  • Resolve team member issues through proper problem resolution.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
  • Work to continuously improve in all areas.
  • Build a culture of One Team, One Mission.
  • Daily manage the staffing of your assigned production department by tracking attendance and timekeeping.
  • Review the master production plan and schedule work accordingly. Follow-through on the daily plan is expected.
  • Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports to your manager.
  • Show leadership by going and seeing issues on the floor, coaching your team members, and following through to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Build a culture of stop-call-wait when non-standard conditions arise.
  • Investigate quality problem reports and provide countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Ensure safety policies are followed at all times and assist in completing safety investigations as needed.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels of all machine and PPE consumables.
  • Manage your department’s priorities as assigned.
  • Consult with HR and leadership on team member disciplinary actions as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production environment with progressive leadership experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree.
  • 5 years of experience in a production environment.
  • Previous supervisor experience.
  • Manufacturing/industry experience.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position manages all team members of the assigned department and is responsible for performance management and hiring within that department.

Travel:

Minimal travel between manufacturing sites is occasionally expected for this position.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer.
