Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a dynamic Operations Supervisor for the Fargo, ND area to lead our logistics team. You will guide drivers and freight handlers, ensure safe loading and unloading, and uphold company policies to maintain a positive work culture.

This role directly supports our daily operations and customer service standards. The position offers a Monday-Friday 10pm-7am shift with a salary range of $65,000–$70,000 depending on experience and skills, and opportunities to

Qualifications

• Two years supervisory and transportation experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations preferred.
• At least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure dock operations are performed safely and efficiently, overseeing loading/unloading.
• Supervise drivers, oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct weekly/daily meetings with shift personnel to discuss updates.
• Coordinate with personnel to maintain and repair company vehicles.
• Monitor misrouted/damaged shipments and implement corrective actions.
• Work with customers to resolve freight issues.
• Oversee quality of paperwork handling.
• Possess ability to carry out duties of supervised positions if needed.
