  • Familiarity with shipping, receiving, inventory, and material flow.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production activities and set priorities based on customer requirements, schedules, materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and accountability to production staff and leads.
  • Monitor progress and address bottlenecks, staffing limits, material shortages, and schedule risks.
  • Maintain a visible shop floor presence and ensure adherence to work instructions and quality standards.
  • Coordinate travelers, documentation, updates, and order requirements.
  • Work with Quality and Engineering to resolve production and quality issues and drive root-cause actions.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and preventive services.
  • Support material flow, receiving, inventory, and shipping processes.
  • Promote safety, EH&S, 5S, and housekeeping standards.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives for safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to mitigate major risks to production, quality, safety, and delivery.
  • Lead annual physical inventory and support accuracy.
  • Perform other operational and supervisory duties.

Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead
daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This
hands‑on leadership role is responsible for production scheduling, shop floor
execution, employee direction, material flow, equipment readiness, shipping
support, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

The Operations Supervisor will work closely with Production
Leads, Quality, Engineering, Receiving, Inspection, EH&S, and
administrative teams to identify and resolve issues, maintain production flow,
and ensure customer commitments are met.

Job Summary
  • Lead
    daily production activities and establish priorities based on customer

    service providers.
  • Support
    material flow, receiving, inventory, shipping, carrier coordination, and
    on‑time shipment execution.
  • Promote
    safety, EH&S, housekeeping, and 5S standards.
  • Identify
    and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality,
    productivity, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate
    cross-functional resources and elevate significant production, quality,
    safety, equipment, material, or delivery risks.
  • Lead
    the annual physical inventory process and support inventory accuracy.
  • Perform
    other operational and supervisory duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Aerospace,
    precision manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or other quality-driven
    manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong
    ability to prioritize work and manage production schedules and customer
    commitments.
  • Experience
    with manufacturing travelers, work instructions, production documentation,
    and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Mechanical
    aptitude and experience coordinating equipment troubleshooting and
    maintenance.
  • Familiarity
    with shipping, receiving, inventory, and material flow.
  • Strong
    leadership, communication, organization, decision-making, and
    problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability
    to work effectively across Production, Quality, Engineering, EH&S,
    Receiving, Inspection, and administrative functions.
  • Proficiency
    with Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP experience preferred.
  • Forklift
    certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
Required Experience and Education
  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • 3+
    years of manufacturing, production, or operations experience with
    demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibility.

Base Compensation: USD 80,000.00 - 90,000.00
