Job summary

Menzies Aviation Tucson is seeking a skilled supervisor to direct station agents across customer service, baggage and ramp operations. You will lead daily shifts, ensure safety, efficiency and adherence to procedures while coordinating with internal teams to meet flight connections and weather-related changes.

The ideal candidate will have a valid US driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess and maintain valid US driver's license.
• Pass all pre-employment testing including a drug screen, FBI background, Customs Seal, and employment history.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must have high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily airport operations, including planning for gate changes,weather delays, crew connections, international arrivals/departures; ensuring rapid response to operational changes.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments, provide clear direction to staff, and ensure accurate dissemination of operational information.
• Lead, mentor, and train employees; participate in hiring, performance evaluations, disciplinary processes, and addressing employee concerns.
• Manage administrative tasks such as shift reports, timecard reviews/corrections, incident reports, and performance documentation.
• Conduct shift briefings, support baggage handling operations, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Role Purpose

This role is responsible for directing the work of all station agents as they perform all aspects of the operation to include customer service operations, baggage services, and ramp services functions. Besides supervision you will be an integrated part of the operations process and perform some of the above tasks. Position requires heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching and frequent kneeling. Adheres to all standards, procedures ensuring all work is performed safely and is supported by following established procedures and protocols.
