Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking an Operations Supervisor in South Bend, Indiana to lead Logistics Service Representatives and drive performance across daily operations. The role focuses on safety, data accuracy, and process improvements while promoting MedSpeed’s collaborative culture.

You will manage onboarding, training, and performance, coordinate maintenance, and partner with other teams to enhance service quality. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for this location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business/operations or related field.
• 1–3 years of progressive business experience preferred.
• Experience applying quality management principles.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer relations and ability to interact with key decision makers.
• Process-oriented with a mindset toward continuous improvement.
• Collaborative across departments and able to work under pressure.
• Strong computer skills with Office suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead Logistics Service Representatives including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Monitor service quality and efficiency using reports and coaching.
• Perform route observations to ensure safety and procedures and identify improvements.
• Maintain route, client, and data accuracy.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance; maintain history and coordinate repairs.
• Assist operations on projects to improve efficiency and service quality.
• All other job-related duties as assigned.

How you Will Contribute

• Overall leadership of Logistics Service Representatives, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and development
• Manage service quality and efficiency through daily observations, monitoring of exception and performance reports and follow up coaching
• Perform Logistics Service Representative route observations to ensure compliance with safety, client and operational procedures and identify improvement opportunities
• Ensure accuracy and ongoing system maintenance of route, client and variable stop data
• Review daily vehicle pre/post trip inspection checklists, coordinate repairs and maintenance with vendors and maintain maintenance history file
• Assist operations team with projects to improve operational efficiency and service quality
• All other job-related duties as assigned
