Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. in Scarborough, ME is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the day-to-day activities of a business unit, ensuring operational excellence and strong customer experiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 1-2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.

Overview

As a Operations Supervisor you will lead the day-to-day activities of a business unit, ensuring operational excellence, team performance, and a positive customer experience. This role is responsible for supervising staff, coordinating resources, resolving operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining alignment with company goals and service standards. You will play a key role in coaching and developing employees, managing workflow and priorities, and partnering across departments to deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes for internal and external customers.

This position is in our Water Manufacturing facility located in Scarborough, ME.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds as required.
  • Fluency in the English language required.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Some positions may require working around moving electro-mechanical equipment and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
