Job summary

TalentBridge seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead daily refurbishment production in Indianapolis, ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. You will oversee personnel and workflows, manage labor and equipment, and drive safety and continuous improvement across the operation.

You will coach and develop a team, monitor key metrics, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degrees preferred.
  • 5–8 years in manufacturing/production, warehouse, or cold storage.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Experience managing production schedules, labor, and workflow.
  • Familiarity with ERP/WMS and inventory control metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production operations to achieve targets and on-time delivery.
  • Monitor production schedules and communicate delays, bottlenecks, or disruptions.
  • Ensure refurbished products meet established quality standards and specs.
  • Lead, coach, motivate, and develop team members.
  • Communicate performance expectations and priorities to staff.
  • Allocate labor, equipment, and materials to support workflow.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and development actions.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and safety policies.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives focusing on productivity and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to operations, inventory, quality, and service.
  • Ensure work order accuracy and timely completion of shipping and documentation.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper control practices.
  • Manage attendance, timekeeping, and weekly labor-hour review.

Operations Supervisor

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Job Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $70,000-$85,000 annually

Job Summary

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading daily production operations and ensuring assets move efficiently through the refurbishment process while meeting quality standards, production targets, and customer delivery requirements.
This role provides hands‑on leadership, develops and coaches team members, promotes a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement, and collaborates cross‑functionally to resolve operational challenges and enhance performance.
The Operations Supervisor oversees personnel, manages workflow and labor resources, monitors key operational metrics, and supports inventory accuracy and shipping readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production operations to achieve production targets and meet on‑time delivery commitments.
  • Monitor production schedules and proactively communicate potential delays, bottlenecks, or operational disruptions.
  • Ensure refurbished products meet established quality standards, customer specifications, and operational requirements.
  • Lead, coach, motivate, and develop team members.
  • Communicate performance expectations, production priorities, operational goals, and business updates to employees.
  • Allocate labor, equipment, and material resources to support production requirements and daily workflow.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to drive employee performance and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and administer performance management activities.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, corrective action, and employee development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, quality standards, and SOPs.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve operational, inventory, quality, and customer service issues.
  • Ensure work order accuracy and timely completion of shipping and operational documentation.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through effective inventory control practices.
  • Manage employee attendance, timekeeping records, and weekly labor‑hour review and approval processes.
  • Provide operational leadership and decision‑making support during management absences and other business‑critical situations.
  • Monitor workflow, production capacity, and resource utilization to ensure departmental goals are achieved.
  • Support a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or bachelor’s degree in operations, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 5‑8 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, cold storage, or warehouse environment.
  • 3‑5 years of supervisory, management, or team leadership experience.
  • Proven experience managing production schedules, labor allocation, and workflow operations.
  • Knowledge of inventory control processes, quality standards, and operational performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience using ERP systems and production and/or warehouse management software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in production, manufacturing, logistics, pharmaceutical, cold‑chain, or warehouse operations environments.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead high‑performing teams while fostering employee engagement and accountability.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), process controls, and operational excellence best practices.
  • Experience identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving operational challenges through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Experience using ERP, warehouse management (WMS), or production management systems to support operational planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to make data‑driven decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience implementing process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

Work Environment
