Mobile Rail Solutions, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead field operations with a focus on safety, leadership, and fleet management. You will work closely with the General Manager and influence team performance, safety culture, and day-to-day operations in a fast-paced rail environment.

This role may require stepping in for vacancies and involves on-the-job training to ensure operational success, fleet reliability, and regulatory compliance across assigned rail yards.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience supervising field teams.
• Strong background in fleet management, transportation, or logistics.
• Class A or B CDL preferred.
• 3+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Working knowledge of safety programs, DOT/OSHA compliance.
• Mechanically inclined with basic equipment knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead from the front in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop drivers and service technicians.
• Drive a strong safety culture through audits, training, and real-time coaching.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure OSHA and company policy compliance.
• Oversee fleet performance, including inspections, maintenance scheduling, and DOT compliance.
• Ensure all vehicles are safe, fully stocked, and operationally ready.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Manage daily operations, schedules, and service delivery across assigned rail yards.
• Maintain knowledge of routes, contracts, and customer requirements.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Track and complete all operational reporting (safety, fleet, inventory).
• Serve as a key point of contact for employees, management, and customers.

We are seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead field operations with a strong focus on safety, leadership, and fleet management. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving performance, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring fleet reliability in a fast-paced rail environment.

You will work closely with the General Manager and have direct influence over team performance, safety culture, and day-to-day operational success. This position may occasionally require filling in for employee vacancies as operational needs arise. On-the-job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Climb trucks and ladders; work on uneven terrain

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screen, fitness exam, and background check
