Position Overview: The Operations Supervisor manages all aspects of a supply chain operation, providing direction and oversight in performance, safety, customer relations, continuous improvement, and associate development.

Location: Greenwood, Indiana

Work Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 1st shift

Travel: 5%

Compensation: $62,000-$80,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in directing distribution, packaging, and transportation operations to meet company and customer objectives.
  • Oversee warehousing, distribution, packaging, and transportation to ensure requirements are met.
  • Direct safety programs for associates, equipment, and property.
  • Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards.
  • Implement staffing plans, manage labor costs, overtime, and retention.
  • Maximize quality and productivity by mastering job standards and evaluating performance variances to identify root causes, corrective actions, and training needs.
  • Participate in collecting performance metrics per customer, vendor, and site requirements.
  • Provide a high-performance experience for associates and customers.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced 3PL, distribution, warehouse, or transportation environment.
  • Experience with high-volume cross-dock operations.
  • Background in inbound or outbound logistics.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.
  • Effective communication with diverse personalities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, WMS, and measurement tools.
  • Strong presentation, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with ADP platforms such as E-Time, Enterprise, ADPRM is helpful.
  • Flexible schedule to meet operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related business field.
  • 3PL experience.
