Job summary

Transdev in Burnsville, MN is seeking an Operations Supervisor to assist the General Manager in daily location functions. The role focuses on safety and customer service, with a competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

This non-CBA position offers minimum $27.75/hour to maximum $34.00/hour, plus standard benefits including vacation, sick days, holidays, and a 401(k) plan. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid CDL with Passenger endorsement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid CDL A or B with Passenger endorsement is required.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable per DOT Reg 49 CFR Part 40.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the check-in process of drivers including fitness for duty inspection, uniform and credential check, and assignment of buses.
  • Coordinate bus rotation, trips and driver break times by the assignment of Customer Service Representative personnel and vehicles.
  • Other duties as required.

Operations Supervisor

Transdev in Burnsville, MN is hiring an Operations Supervisor. The Operations Supervisor assists the General Manager in all aspects of the daily location functions. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Non-CBA Position:

  • Competitive compensation package of minimum $27.75/hour – Maximum $34.00/hour

Benefits include:

  • Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
  • Sick days: 5 days
  • Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating
  • Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the check-in process of drivers including fitness for duty inspection, uniform and credential check, and assignment of buses

  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

  • Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
  • Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
  • Push and pull objects up to 25 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
  • Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
