Job summary

Veo, a leading micromobility provider, seeks a hands-on Operations role in the Alexandria, VA area. You will split time between direct field tasks and administrative support, helping to keep scooter fleets in top condition and service running smoothly.

Open availability is preferred; must work weekdays and weekends. The role includes a company van and relocation-like responsibilities, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude.
• 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and be on your feet for the entirety of a shift.
• Knowledge of the local geography and street layout.
• Clear, effective communication.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager with the day-to-day responsibilities in the market.
• Hands-on 60-80% of time: direct labor, warehouse organization, asset counts, vehicle maintenance, field service requests.
• Redistribute scooters around Veo’s service areas.
• Identify, document and recover scooters requiring in-shop repair.
• Ad-hoc field tasks and other tasks as required.
• 20-40% of time: administrative tasks like hiring, training, scheduling, productivity tracking, SOP follow-up.

Pay: $24.40/hr

A company van is provided to all employees. Employees must have reliable transportation to the warehouse located on S. Earley St. in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Operations Manager with the day-to-day responsibilities in the market
• 60-80% of your time will be hands-on, manual work to include:
  • Direct labor and warehouse organization
  • Hand-count assets and compliance audits
  • Perform routine inspection and maintenance of vehicles
  • Respond to on-demand and in the field customer service requests
  • Redistribute scooters around Veo’s service areas
  • Identify, document and recover scooters requiring in-shop repair
  • Ad-hoc field tasks and other tasks as required
• 20-40% of your time will consist of a variety of administrative work to include:
  • Support Operations Manager with hiring, training, scheduling staff
  • Employee productivity tracking
  • SOP follow-up
  • Assist Operations Manager with other projects as needed
