Job summary

Veo is seeking an Operations Manager to lead dockless micromobility program operations in New Haven. You will strengthen local partnerships, manage daily warehouse and field activities, and drive ridership growth while coordinating fleets of scooters and repair tasks.

This hands-on role requires lifting, driving, and team leadership. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in fleet or operations management, a bias for action, and a passion for sustainable micro-mobility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and field operations.
• Perform physical tasks including moving scooters, driving vans, and maintaining scooters.
• Set and manage daily routes for hourly associates for fleet deployment and repositioning.
• Identify gaps in hitting operations metrics and develop solutions to fix them.
• Drive timely and accurate submission of fleet health counts, weekly operations data updates, and maintenance requests.
• Recruit and train local team.
• Ensure operations are in compliance with city agreements and company SOPs.
• Manage inventory and ensure parts are ordered.

Job Summary

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 – $70,000 plus quarterly performance bonus and full benefits. Our total compensation package for this role ranges from $60,000 – $75,000 per year, with potential for additional upside through bonuses. Pay is determined by geographic cost of labor and other factors, and not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the range. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with 3% match, and other program specifics may apply.
