Job summary

JBS USA in Colorado is offering a 10-week summer internship to help identify operational gaps and improve process efficiency across the production floor. You will learn production practices that support food safety and monitor quality while shadowing supervisors and engaging with hourly team members.

You will be mentored by leaders, gain exposure to multiple business areas, and complete a project addressing real operations issues. A relocation stipend is provided.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in four-year university or pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Will provide support to the operations team.
• Learn effective and efficient operations within a culture of continuous improvement.
• Shadow and learn how to maintain production practices that support the food safety program.
• Understand how to monitor product quality and production operations to meet customer expectations.
• Shadow production supervisors and learn their day-to-day operations.
• Complete and present a project related to issues within the operations department.
