Actalent is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist Quality for on-site Rockford, IL, with 3+ years of manufacturing quality inspection experience. You will perform precision dimensional inspections, read blueprints and GD&T, and verify tolerances while documenting results and supporting cross-functional teams.

This is a contract, on-site role with first and second shifts. The position offers pay of $27.00–$37.00 per hour, with eligibility for standard benefits for temporary roles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with precision measurement and inspection equipment.
• Solid understanding of GD&T.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience interpreting CMM reports is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Operations Specialist Quality - 2 openings one on 1st shift one on 2nd shift

Schedule

• On-site manufacturing environment.
• 1st Shift: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspection Specialist to perform precision inspections of manufactured parts and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and tolerances. This is a hands‑on role within a manufacturing environment, working closely with production and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers, height gages, plug gages, bore gages, and other precision measurement tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $37.00/hr.
