Job summary

Quirch Foods is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support our logistics billing operations. You will match customer and carrier bills, validate invoices, and ensure accurate allocation across customers.

Ideal candidates have strong AP knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication. This on-site role at our Oregon facilities offers steady work and opportunities to optimize billing processes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Match customer bills with carrier bills
• Validate and reconcile vendor invoices
• Cost carrier loads to orders and allocate invoices across customers
• Bill customers from single and carrier bills
• Coordinate with internal teams on rate corrections and billing issues
• Cost lumpers, detention, and accessorial charges
• Scan, code, and store electronic invoices
• Enter weekly accounts payable
• Process payables
• Print and mail checks; file remittances
• Respond to inquiries by phone or email
• Filing and organizing
• Other duties as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Matching customer bills with carrier bills
• Validating and reconciling vendor invoices
• Costing carrier truckloads to individual orders and ensuring carrier invoices allocate appropriately across multiple customers
• Billing customers from single bills and carrier bills
• Collaborating with internal team for rate corrections and other billing issues
• Costing lumpers, detention fees, and other accessorial charges
• Electronic invoice scanning, coding, and storing
• Entering weekly AP
