Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking an Operations Specialist, Journeyman at Fort Belvoir, VA to support DoD operations with a focus on administrative leadership, process improvement, and enterprise governance. The role emphasizes planning, metrics, and cross‑functional collaboration across program reviews and IPTs.

The candidate will contribute to planning, documentation, and communications for senior leaders while ensuring compliance with program rules and DoD requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• 5+ years of DoD operations experience.
• Experience with process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform resource and financial management activities for program management analyses.
• Provide enterprise oversight and integration for AESMS.
• Update products, systems, and programs based on data analyses and lifecycle cost estimates.
• Assist with IPT meetings, minutes, and program reviews.
• Develop and maintain AESMS and CPE ES2 documents.
• Coordinate IPT meetings and manage recurring meetings.
• Own daily operations processes to ensure a precise flow for leaders.
• Prepare briefs for senior leadership for external PM reviews.
• Create guidance on PM processes, roles, and business rules.
• Communicate Government Operation Director’s taskings to staff.
