Job summary

Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) seeks an Operations Specialist, Journeyman at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role focuses on program management, execution support, and enhancing operational processes within a DoD context.

The candidate will engage in IPTs, document findings, and support senior leaders with briefings and performance data. A Secret clearance and strong documentation skills are required to deliver results in a dynamic government environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• 5+ years of DoD operations experience.
• Experience with process documentation.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management support and administrative oversight for DoD operations.
• Assist with IPT meetings, minutes, and briefing development for senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain program documentation, reports, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate scheduling of reviews and leadership briefings.
• Contribute to risk management, cost and schedule analysis, and planning activities.
• Prepare briefs and supporting materials for external PM reviews.
