Job summary

Airspace, headquartered in Carlsbad, CA, seeks an Operations Specialist II to own the judgment calls that keep orders moving. You will resolve shipments that fall outside the standard SOP, source coverage for complex segments, and provide cost estimates while maintaining high service standards.

You will work on time‑critical logistics with a focus on de‑escalation, proactive problem solving, and clear communication with customers, drivers, and internal teams to keep every shipment on track.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success as an Operations Specialist I, or equivalent time‑critical logistics experience.
• Proven ability to make sound decisions with incomplete information under time pressure.
• Track record of de‑escalating difficult customer or operational situations without escalation.

Responsibilities

• Independently start carrier traces for shipments that failed to load or cannot be located.
• Source driver coverage for any order segment, including oversized shipments.
• Use bid/quote tools to source specialized vehicles and provide cost estimates to customers.
• Apply training and tenure knowledge to anticipate complications and solve them proactively.
