Job summary

TENICA and Associates LLC in Silverdale, WA seeks an Operations Specialist II (Watchstander) to support the Navy Regional Operations Center. The role emphasizes 24/7 situational awareness and the use of C4I tools to monitor, collect and share critical information in accordance with CCIRs and SOPs.

The position requires shift work: 12 hours a day for seven days, followed by seven days off, and an active DoD SECRET clearance to be considered. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD SECRET clearance required
• Experience in Navy CNIC or DOD operations center helpful
• Ability to analyze information under rapidly changing conditions
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 situational awareness and understanding of regional activities.
• Prepare oral and written briefings and disseminate them.
• Maintain and track status of ROC equipment.
• Respond to situations requiring immediate action or notification.
• Support crisis action management for regional operations.
• Screen, categorize and distribute incoming messages.
• Control access into the Regional Operations Center.
• Execute Continuity of Operations activities.
• Prepare execute summaries and reports per SOPs.
• Receive information into situational displays.
• Provide all-hazards warnings.
• Coordinate with Protection Ashore capabilities including Fire and Emergency Services, AT, and Emergency Management
