Job Details: Job Location: Los Alamos, NM 87545, The Operations Specialist 2 provides general direction, guidance, data analysis, and operational support to facility operations to ensure the effective implementation and integration of operational and programmatic functions.

This position supports the administration, implementation, and resolution of performance, compliance, administrative, and technical programs and issues. Responsibilities include providing direct and indirect support to facility operations through program coordination, performance monitoring, compliance activities, and issue resolution. The role may support unusual facility occurrence investigations, internal assessments, external audits, and the implementation of new operational programs.

The Operations Specialist 2 works with facility personnel and other organizational groups to support operational effectiveness, maintain compliance with applicable requirements, and ensure successful execution of facility programs and activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to provide operational support, guidance, and coordination within a facility or organizational environment.
• Ability to analyze data, identify performance trends, and support operational decision-making.
• Understanding of performance management, compliance, administrative, and technical program requirements.
• Ability to support issue resolution, internal assessments, external audits, and program implementation.
• Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with facility personnel and other organizational groups to support operational objectives.
