Job Description

The Operations Specialist will play a vital role in supporting Distribution Operations by managing technical aspects of projects, reviewing distribution documentation for compliance, and overseeing the non conformance process. This position involves reviewing and performing associate training, updating procedures, and leading process improvement activities.

The Operations Specialist will play a vital role in supporting Distribution Operations by managing technical aspects of projects, reviewing distribution documentation for compliance, and overseeing the non conformance process. This position involves reviewing and performing associate training, updating procedures, and leading process improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering projects.
• Support Distribution Operations with technical aspects for projects.
• Review distribution documentation for compliance and adherence.
• Provide documentation and initiate investigations for non conformances, including risk analysis.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and AATB regulations.
• Update forms and procedures, and perform training for distribution activities.
• Prepare reports and summaries to support distribution activities.
• Support internal and external audit activities, including planning, prepping, conducting, and follow-up for assigned tasks.
• Perform additional duties as required.
  
  

Essential Skills

• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Ability to understand processing and release requirements.
• Associate's Degree in engineering, science, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in project coordination, engineering, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in documentation review, document management, and compliance.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  
  

Work Environment

The company is transitioning to a new 70,000 sq ft facility, providing a business casual dress code and a clean room environment. The work hours are typically 8 AM to 5 PM, totaling a 40-hour work week, with occasional on-call duties. The operations run 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
