Job summary

Tribalco in the United States is seeking an Operations Specialist with military tactical rescue experience to serve as an instructor for TCCC CASEVAC, TR IV, and custom courses at various US customer sites. The role is part-time and non-exempt, requiring travel and hands-on teaching in NFPA 1006 disciplines.

The candidate will develop training materials, coordinate locations and equipment, and may handle paperwork after courses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in military tactical rescue.
• Minimum 1-year experience teaching hands‑on courses for one or more of the following disciplines: First responder or higher certification (or military equivalent).
• First responder or higher certification (or military equivalent).
• Maintain an active US Passport.
• Must be able to meet travel requirements remain in a seated position for travel inside and outside of the United States, with most flight legs <5 hours, and occasional flight legs up to 10 hours.
• Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to teach students Technical Rescue, in varying outdoor weather conditions, for extended durations of time.

Tribalco is seeking a qualified Operations Specialist with military tactical rescue experience and hands‑on experience teaching courses in one or more of the following: confined space, rope rescue, structural collapse rescue, light vehicle extrication, or heavy vehicle extrication in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1006.

Responsibilities

• Will be a primary or secondary instructor for TCCC CASEVAC, TR IV, and custom courses
• Assists in the development of custom rescue courses
• Assists with the creation of training guides, syllabi, outlines, and manuals when needed
• Coordinates with POCs for training locations and equipment when needed
• May handle the administration and organization of paperwork upon course completion

Compensation

• $50-70/hour
• The above hourly rate range is a guideline; however, compensation is determined by a number of factors, including the scope of the position and the candidate's experience, education, certifications, training, skills, and market factors Prevailing wage rates will also be taken into account
