  • Reconciling statements across DDA, GL, CD, Teller Cash, and CCB Checking accounts.
  • Balance general ledger accounts and post correcting entries to ensure financial integrity.
  • Process Wires, Mortgage Findings, Currency Orders, ACH Returns, card payments, and export ACH batches.
  • Produce bookkeeping reports and support remote deposit capture functions.
  • Assist customers with Cash Management, online bill pay, wires, and related services.

Job description

Operations Specialist are responsible for performing transactions in compliance with regulatory and bank policies and procedures, and adherence to bank security policies and confidentiality of bank records and customer information. They provide customer service to internal and external clients, working closely with deposit operations staff to research and resolve transactional discrepancies.STATEMENT OF EXPECTATIONSChickasaw Community Bank (CCB) expects all employees to comply with the responsibilities of their assigned position to the highest degree of performance. Expectations include but are not limited to:Adhere to the bank’s policies and support management decisions and goals in a positive, professional mannerRepresent CCB with a high level of integrity and professionalismMaintain knowledge and understanding of banking rules, regulations, laws, and all policies and proceduresFollow established policies, systems and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory laws, guidance and internal policiesKnowledge of applicable bank software and programsDemonstrate a willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlinesPossess a work ethic that includes neatness and punctualityExhibit a professional, business‐like appearance, and demeanorAnswer all voicemails and emails within 24 hours of receiptConfer with management concerning questions, procedures, necessary information, forms completion, and problem resolutionsComplete and attend all required CCB trainingMaintain satisfactory attendancePerform other duties as they relate to the Bank and its functionsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReconciling, DDA, GL, CD, Teller Cash and CCB Checking Account.Balance general ledger accounts and post correcting entries, review and verify the accuracy of transactions to support the financial integrity of the organization.I‐Web: Incoming and Outgoing Wires, Mortgage Findings, Currency Orders, ACH Returns, Credit Card Payments, and export ACH Batches for Cash Management Customers.Produce various Bookkeeping Reports.Performs Remote Deposit Capture functions including maintaining limit logs, verifying and sending daily Merchant deposits, etc.Creates and posts ATM Fraud Risk and STAR Network reports, CAM alerts.Assists customers with Cash Management, online bill pay, wires, etc.Maintain Charge off accounts and report to ChexSystem.End of Month Reconciling of CCB accounts, Dormant Accounts; send End of Month dormant letters and High‐Risk accounts.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESBack up all Operations Specialist Desks.PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThis work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.Frequent lifting (up to 10 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).NOTE: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by an employee in this position.
