• Process daily reports and settlements as delegated by VP Operations Manager.
• Monitor and process lockbox items, new account documents, and account exceptions.
• Process levies, garnishments and bankruptcy requests.
• Review branch capture work and mobile/merchant capture deposits.

Citizens National Bank has an excellent opportunity available in our Operations Center in Bluffton, Ohio for a Operations Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for monitoring and processing all items related to the Deposit Operations of the Bank.

A typical day may include the following:

• Monitor and address all non-post, stop pays, positive pay or NSF items on a daily basis
• Process foreign items and returned mail.
• Process chargeback's, ACH items, wires and CD/IRAs.
• Verify that signatures on all wires are in compliance with Bank policy.
• Process daily account maintenance requests in accordance with Bank policy and file properly.
• Process daily reports and settlements as delegated by the VP Operations Manager.
• Monitor and process lockbox items, new account documents and handling account exceptions.
• Process levies, garnishments and bankruptcy requests.
• Process branch capture work and for review of mobile and merchant capture deposits.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Two years' experience desired.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have stellar written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism
• Ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts of difficult procedural and technical nature and draw valid conclusions.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft products.
