Job summary

Cherokee Strategic Solutions (CSS) is seeking an Operations/Site/Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations at the NRC location and serve as acting Program Manager when needed. This role focuses on operational excellence, policy implementation, and training analysis.

The position requires an active Secret clearance and offers full-time benefits. Responsibilities include conducting fact-finding, briefing Government leadership, and ensuring contract performance with compliance and customer

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of recent project/operations/site/production management experience (last 5 years).
• Bachelor’s Degree in disciplines including program management, business/public administration, production/operations/quality management, technical management, information systems, engineering, or finance/accounting.
• USCIS will allow a PMP Certification as certified by PMI in lieu of the educational requirements; must possess or obtain a Six Sigma Green Belt within 180 days of contract award.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Program Manager in the absence of the Program Manager at the NRC location and address operational concerns.
• Conduct fact-finding for special projects and present written/oral briefings to management.
• Present oral briefings to Government oversight personnel.
• Develop and revise SOPs and related procedures to ensure contract performance.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
