Innova Solutions in Simpsonville, SC is hiring a Material Handler for a full-time, 6-month contract role. The shift runs 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday–Friday with Saturdays as needed. This onsite position focuses on receiving, storing, and distributing materials, with forklift and MRP system duties integral to daily operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and experience operating forklifts and a material lifting device. Basic math and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in packaging and shipping of finished goods when required.

Job Description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Material Handler.

Position type: Full-time, Contract

Duration: 6 months

Location: Simpsonville, SC – Onsite

Shift: 1st shift 7:00am- 3:30pm Monday- Fri; Saturdays as needed

As a Material Handler, you will:

• Safely and efficiently handle materials, including receiving, storing, and distributing inventory.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and other delivery vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment as required.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in packaging and shipping of finished goods when required.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have prior experience working with MRP system, operating a forklift and or Material Lifter (not a manual pallet jack)
• Previous experience in a material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills for inventory management.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range*: $16.00/hr to $17.50 /hr depending on experience/skill set level

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
