Job summary

Huntington Bank seeks a Section Manager 1 - Operations to oversee daily activities through team leaders and supervisors. The role focuses on staffing, training, scheduling, and ensuring service quality within a compliant, efficient operation.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of supervisory experience and a high school diploma, with preferred qualifications including a bachelor’s degree, leadership, and customer-focused abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 or more years experience as team leader or supervisor.
• Loan Documentation Experience.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• AFS/Vison experience (preferred).
• Active Listener (preferred).
• Critical thinker (preferred).
• Organizer (preferred).
• Customer oriented (preferred).
• Ability to develop and motivate employees (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the area is adequately staffed and that all personnel are trained.
• Reviews and recommends new methods and procedures to make the area more efficient.
• Plans and schedules the activities within the area of responsibility and coordinates activities with other areas as required.
• Resolves the more complex working problems.
• Prepares, maintains and/or monitors reports in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Ensures quality of service level is maintained.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
