FedEx in Grayslake, IL seeks an Operations Safety Specialist to deliver safety content, education and programs at the site, supporting the Safety Above All culture. The role builds and customizes safety strategy and leads safety leadership initiatives.
You will coach Ops Managers, conduct incident investigations, lead safety training, and present safety performance to management with remediation plans. This position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and compliance.
The Operations Safety Specialist will serve as safety resource within a domicile location. Responsible for delivering safety-related content, education and programs to the location. Supports and maintains the ‘Safety Above All' culture. Creates and customizes safety strategy, initiatives and programs within the local operating environment. Engages, coaches, develops and trains on safety acumen and leadership.
Pay: $24.75 - $38.43/hr
