Altium Packaging in City of Industry, CA is seeking an Operations Assistant to support purchasing, inventory, and safety activities at our HDPE extrusion facility. The role requires hands-on experience in purchasing, cycle counts, shipping/receiving, and working across shifts to support safety initiatives.

You will manage vendor relations, process purchase orders, maintain the JDE system and Training Matrix, and collaborate with plant staff to sustain accurate stock and compliance.

Formación

• 3–5 years of experience as an office administrator or similar role.
• High School diploma.
• Strong prioritization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web browsers.
• Experience with Concur is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Drive safety audits and plant inspections regularly.
• Manage Safety Department trainings and AMS requirements.
• Support external auditors on EHS matters.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for safety reviews.
• Onboard new hires with safety training.
• Provide purchase orders to vendors and schedule deliveries.
• Receive goods and verify against purchase orders.
• Maintain vendor list and monitor safety stock.
• Perform bi-monthly cycle counts in JDE.
• Operate within JDE inventory system and Excel.
• Maintain Plant Training Matrix.
