Job summary

The Operations Review Specialist for DGS Office of External Affairs will support the CACFP program in the Florida Department of Health's central office in Tallahassee. • Ability to interpret federal and state regulations and procedures, analyze processes, and identify solutions
• Strong computer skills and use of standard software packages
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and establish effective working relationships
• Willingness to physically come to the office and travel to present information to contractors

The Operations Review Specialist provides service delivery for the USDA Child Care Food Program, including evaluation and approval of contractor applications, technical assistance, and training. The incumbent will work in the Program Policy and Development Section at the Department of Health's central office in Tallahassee, exercising independent judgment on program compliance and eligibility determinations.
