Job summary

Guidehouse in Huntsville, AL seeks a data analytics professional to conduct comprehensive baseline assessments of industrial capabilities by analyzing production data, maintenance metrics, and operational risks. You will gather and prepare data from multiple sources to validate a prioritization tool and analytical models.

You will collaborate with data scientists, developers, and SMEs to build a scalable, defensible decision-support system and document technical specifications for the framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Minimum THREE (3) years of relevant experience
• Proven experience with quantitative models, decision support tools, or BCA methodologies.
• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD SECRET clearance; active SECRET or higher preferred.
• Proficiency with data analysis and willingness to learn new software platforms and tools.

What You Will Do

What You Will Need

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding. Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or another relevant STEM field.
• Minimum THREE (3) years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in developing and applying quantitative models, decision support tools, or BCA methodologies.
• Proficiency with data analysis and willingness to learn new software platforms and tools.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, including defining requirements for configurable software.
• Experience developing or working with database schemas and API specifications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with an ability to adapt to new challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting complex technical concepts and presenting findings.
• Interest in AI/ML applications, optimization, and simulation for industrial processes.
