Middle River Power in Chicago is seeking a hands-on Recruiter to support hiring across our operations portfolio. The role focuses on hourly, skilled trades, and technical operations positions, with a preference for candidates experienced in manufacturing, industrial, or energy environments.

This six-month, full-time position is based in our Chicago office on a hybrid schedule, with the potential to transition to permanent employment based on business needs and performance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with emphasis on hourly/operational positions.
• Experience recruiting in manufacturing, industrial operations, energy, or similar environments.
• Strong sourcing, candidate screening, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple time zones and schedules to support recruiting needs across facilities.

Responsabilités

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly, skilled trades, technical, and operational positions across MRP's facilities.
• Partner with plant leadership, hiring managers, and HR to understand staffing needs and priorities.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates in competitive labor markets.
• Source and screen candidates through job boards, referrals, community partnerships, and other recruiting channels.
• Coordinate interviews, facilitate hiring manager feedback, and maintain consistent candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
• Support offer preparation, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding coordination with HR.
• Maintain accurate applicant records and recruiting activity within the ATS.
• Track recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate pipeline activity, and hiring progress.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and hiring efficiency.
• Partner with HR to support onboarding for new hires, coordinating pre-employment requirements and onboarding activities.
