Job summary

OpSource Staffing is seeking an Experienced Skilled Trades Recruiter to source, screen, and place talent across industrial and construction trades. This hybrid role is based in Columbia, SC, with two in-office days per week and the remainder of the week working remotely.

The recruiter will manage end-to-end recruiting for contract, project-based, and direct hire opportunities, building reliable relationships with both candidates and clients while matching skilled trades professionals to hiring

Qualifications

• 4 years Recruiting experience required.
• 3 years Skilled trades recruiting preferred.
• 4+ years of recruiting, staffing, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting within skilled trades, construction, manufacturing, industrial staffing, or related industries preferred.
• Familiarity with ATS Zenople and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and organization skills with the ability to build relationships.
• Confident, professional communication style.
• Persistent and proactive follow-up.
• Goal-oriented and customer-focused approach.
• Comfortable with high-volume outreach and relationship building.
• Able to manage multiple openings in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to build trust with both field personnel and client leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients
• Recruit through job boards, networking, referrals, social media, and direct outreach
• Conduct interviews and evaluate experience, certifications, and cultural fit
• Maintain communication with clients and candidates throughout the hiring process
• Coordinate interviews, offers, onboarding, and start dates
• Track recruiting activity within ATS/CRM systems
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent

OpSource Staffing is hiring an Experienced Skilled Trades Recruiter to support sourcing, screening, and placement of talent across industrial and construction trades. This hybrid role is based in Columbia, SC, with two in-office days per week and the remainder of the week working remotely.

Role Overview

The Skilled Trades Recruiter will manage end-to-end recruiting for contract, project-based, and direct hire opportunities. The position focuses on building reliable relationships with both candidates and clients while matching qualified skilled trades professionals to hiring needs.

Key trade areas include welders, pipefitters, electricians, industrial maintenance technicians, plumbers, field superintendents, project managers, and other skilled trades roles.
