Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems Sector PS&C Facility in Elkton, MD is seeking an Operations Project Manager (OPM). The OPM will coordinate across PMO, Manufacturing, Testing, Planning & Scheduling, MA, SCM, Engineering and Shipping to drive on-time, in-budget program execution.

Level 2 or Level 3 (Principal) options are available. Requires leadership, DoD Secret clearance, and ERP/Costpoint experience; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with relevant experience or equivalent combination
• Leadership and project management experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance (US citizenship required)
• Experience with Costpoint, SAP or other ERP systems and MS Office applications

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day interfaces between PMO, Manufacturing, Testing, Planning & Scheduling, MA, SCM, Engineering and Shipping
• Facilitate internal meetings to support production, testing and issue resolution
• Ensure successful execution of operations/manufacturing scope per SOW, meeting cost/schedule targets
• Lead manufacturing planning and readiness efforts
• Serve as focal point for manufacturing input into proposals
• Support BOM development on development programs
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities and execute plans
• Communicate manufacturing metrics to PMO and act as CAM for manufacturing
• Assist with program closeout and hardware disposition
