Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd is seeking a Project Manager in New Albany, Indiana. The role involves end-to-end execution of capital projects, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, cost, and leading cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and over 8 years of experience in capital project management in regulated environments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.
This role is not available for any form of immigration sponsorship or support, including completion of the Form I-983 training plan required for STEM OPT.
The Project Manager is accountable for the end‑to‑end execution of assigned capital projects, from concept development through mechanical completion and handover to site operations and startup. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory expectations. The Project Manager leads cross‑functional teams and external partners (EPCM, OEMs, contractors) to define scope, manage execution, control risks, and maintain alignment between project objectives and operational outcomes.
General office environment. Ability to move about the office, construction, and production areas. Exposure to disagreeable elements is limited. Must perform safe work in accordance with SOPs and GMP.
Domestic and international travel to visit equipment manufacturers and support projects outside the New Albany site.
No direct reports; oversees the project work of Engineering Managers and external partners such as general contractors and design firms.
