Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an experienced Operations Project Leader to drive NPD launches, manufacturing support, and cost reduction across global sites. You will lead cross-functional teams, create schedules and risk plans, and push improvements from concept to production.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in industrial/ manufacturing engineering, strong PM skills, and hands-on CAD/ERP experience. Travel to domestic and international sites is expected as part of program execution.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, supply chain or operations.
• Graduate studies preferred in business areas such as Project Management, Finance, Marketing, or Organizational studies.
• Formal project management training preferred.
• Minimum 7 years engineering experience in related field.
• Working knowledge of Milwaukee product technologies and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Office is required.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (15% travel).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple moderate to highly complex operations projects for NPD, process improvement & manufacturing support with minimal direction.
• Provide project management & technical problem solving support on high complexity projects, as needed.
• Create project schedules, resource plans (RASICs), and facilitate and document project meetings.
• Track project schedule to ensure adherence to timelines and inform stakeholders of issues.
• Identify and mitigate project risks & implement risk reduction plans.
• Interact with cross-functional teams across Quality, Engineering, Sourcing, Finance, and Supply chain.
• Lead manufacturing process related feasibility studies and cost analyses.
