Job summary

Milwaukee Tool (Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation) is seeking an Operations Project Leader to support NPD launches, manufacturing initiatives and cost improvements. You will lead multi‑site projects, manage schedules and risks, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Sourcing, Finance, and Marketing teams.

The role requires a strong manufacturing/industrial engineering background, 7+ years of experience, and travel to domestic and international sites.

Qualifications

Relevant degree in industrial, mechanical engineering, supply chain or operations.
Minimum 7 years of engineering experience in related field.
Experience managing moderate complexity projects or subsystems.
Strong manufacturing/process improvement aptitude and equipment familiarity.
Proficient in MS Office including MS Project and cost analysis.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (approx. 15%).

Responsibilities

Lead multiple complex operations projects for NPD, process improvement and manufacturing support with minimal direction.
Create schedules, resource plans, and facilitate project meetings; track timelines and mitigate risks.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Sourcing, Finance, Supply and Demand, Marketing.
Present project status and lead technical reviews; communicate with engineers and non‑engineers across locations.
Evaluate design for cost, reliability and manufacturability; propose improvements.
Lead manufacturing feasibility studies and select optimal production approaches.
Oversee operational readiness and equipment/tooling integration; ensure safety and compliance.
Travel to sites including Milwaukee, West Bend WI, Mukwonago WI, Cookeville TN, international sites 1–2 times/year.
