Job summary

HRBS Global is seeking an Operations Project Lead in Palo Alto to own the outcomes of our international AI data delivery portfolio. You will lead and develop a team of project managers, building processes and quality systems for scalable, high-quality delivery with customers, algorithm, product, and engineering teams worldwide.

You will define standardized workflows, establish SOPs, and implement quality metrics to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction across multi-project portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, operations management, AI data operations, BPO, or international delivery, including at least 2 years managing a team.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects or a project portfolio, and delivering end-to-end.
• Working knowledge of AI data collection, annotation, quality inspection, and delivery processes.
• Track record of standardizing processes: you can write SOPs and drive adoption.
• Strong cross-team communication, resource coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English; comfortable leading meetings and writing clear documentation.
• Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, Jira, and Asana.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across scope, quality, cycle time, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage the full project lifecycle: requirements, solution design, execution, quality acceptance, and delivery.
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of AI and embodied intelligence data projects for international customers.
• Manage multi-project priorities and resources from a portfolio perspective.
• Lead and develop the project manager team so every project follows unified standards.
• Assign work, set goals, track progress, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Establish management routines: regular meetings, checkpoints, risk escalation, retrospectives, and dashboards.
• Define standardized workflows for data projects, covering collection, annotation, quality inspection, data flow, compliance, and delivery.
• Develop SOPs, checklists, templates, and retrospective practices.
• Establish quality management mechanisms and track pass rate, rework rate, acceptance pass rate, and on-time delivery rate.
• Work with customers, internal algorithm, product, and engineering teams, and local vendors to stay aligned.
• Manage vendors and on-site resources, including onboarding, training, and performance evaluation.
• Improve project transparency and efficiency through dashboards, reports, and automation tools.

About the Role

As Operations Project Lead, you will own the outcomes of our international AI and embodied intelligence data delivery portfolio, including scope, quality, timeline, cost, and customer satisfaction. You will lead and develop a team of project managers, build the processes and quality systems that let us deliver consistently at scale, and partner closely with customers, our algorithm, product, and engineering teams, and local vendors around the world.

What You'll Do

Own end-to-end delivery

• Own the results of the international operations delivery portfolio across scope, quality, cycle time, cost, and customer satisfaction.

Build scalable process and quality systems

• Define standardized workflows for data projects, covering collection, annotation, quality inspection, data flow, compliance, and delivery.
• Develop SOPs, checklists, templates, and retrospective practices.
• Establish quality management mechanisms and track pass rate, rework rate, acceptance pass rate, and on-time delivery rate.

Partner across teams and vendors

• Work with customers, internal algorithm, product, and engineering teams, and local vendors to keep projects aligned.

What You'll Bring

Required qualifications

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with embodied intelligence, robotics, autonomous driving, multimodal data, or 3D data.
• Experience with international project delivery and vendor management.
• Familiarity with annotation platforms such as Label Studio, CVAT, Labelbox, Scale AI, and SuperAnnotate.
• Familiarity with methodologies such as PDCA, RCA, DMAIC, and SLAs.
• PMP, Scrum, or Six Sigma certification.
