Job summary

US LBM is seeking an Operations Project Coordinator to support the business by developing solutions to meet organizational goals. The role emphasizes documenting requirements, tracking progress, and collaborating with location management and vendors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Document functional requirements, processes and procedures.
  • Track and communicate project progress to location management.
  • Participate in LEAN process reviews, identify waste and help implement waste-elimination strategies.
  • Monitor and report on progress of projects to location management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with team members, vendors and other departments.
  • Support office and production associates by troubleshooting problems and finding solutions.
  • Adhere to safety rules and maintain a safe environment.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

A Brief Overview

The Operations Project Coordinator will support the business and assist with developing solutions to address challenges and meet established organizational goals.

Pay Range

$25.00 - $32.00/hour

What You Will Do
  • Document functional requirements, processes and procedures.
  • Track and communicate project progress on to location management.
  • Participate in LEAN process reviews, identify waste and assist with implementation of strategies to eliminate waste.
  • Monitor and report on progress of project to location management.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the project.
  • Support all office and production associates by troubleshooting, identifying problems, finding solutions or contacting other resources to resolve problems as necessary.
  • Adhere to established safety rules and regulations and follow all safety procedures; maintain a safe environment.
  • Comply with the attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.

Education Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in an operational staff position or project management required.
  • Experience in building materials industry required.
Skills And Abilities
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, writing skills, and highly organized.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred.
