Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking an Operations Program Manager in Franklin, MA to oversee production schedules and material readiness across engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams. The role focuses on aligning manufacturing commitments with program objectives and proactively managing critical-path activities.

You will drive risk mitigation, supplier performance, and production constraints while leading continuous improvements in planning processes and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing operations, production planning, or program management experience.
• Experience managing production schedules and integrated master schedules.
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, material planning, and long-lead procurement.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Advanced Excel and scheduling software proficiency (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, etc.)
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must meet U.S. Person requirements under ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage production schedules and manufacturing execution plans
• Drive material planning, procurement coordination, and shortage resolution
• Analyze engineering changes and assess operational impacts
• Identify schedule risks and implement recovery plans
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and accountability
• Conduct production reviews and present operational status to leadership
• Develop and improve planning processes, workflows, and performance metrics
